- In case of a valid complaint, you can be offered a replacement of the specific faulty item, a price reduction, or a full refund for the faulty item, depending on the specific situation.

Right of Complaint (Reklamationsret)
This section applies to defects in the food, beverages, or other services delivered.
1.1. Scope and Duration
According to the Danish Sales Act (Købeloven), you have a right to complain about defects that were present at the time of pickup or delivery.
- For Food and Takeaway Services: The right of complaint applies if the food or service is demonstrably faulty (e.g., incorrect, spoiled, or contains foreign objects) at the time of delivery/pickup.
- For Durable Goods (Merchandise): A 2-year right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing.
1.2. Time Limit for Complaint
You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect or fault.
- For Food/Perishable Items: Due to the nature of food, “reasonable time” is interpreted very strictly. You must complain immediately or within a very short time after you discover the fault so that the fault can be verified while the item is still fresh. Complaints regarding food quality made long after delivery/pickup may be rejected.
- For Durable Goods: The general rule applies: You must complain within a reasonable time, which is usually considered within two months of discovery.
1.3. Remedies (What we offer)
In the case of a valid complaint, depending on the specific situation, you can be offered:
- For Food/Services: A replacement of the specific faulty item, a price reduction, or a full refund for the faulty item. Repair or exchange is generally not applicable to food.
- For Durable Goods: Repair, exchange, price reduction, or refund.
1.4. Exceptions
The right of complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product/service after delivery (e.g., incorrect storage, reheating, or normal wear and tear).
1.5. Return Costs
Vibecast ApS will cover return costs (if applicable, e.g., returning a wrong item) to a reasonable extent.
2. Right of Withdrawal and Returns (Fortrydelsesret)
2.1. Right of Withdrawal for Food and Perishable Goods
There is NO right of withdrawal (14-day right of return/cancellation) for the purchase of food, beverages, and other goods intended for current consumption in the household, which are delivered to the consumer’s home/residence. This is based on Section 18, subsection 2, no. 4 of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven).
Once the order preparation has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded under the right of withdrawal.
2.2. Right of Withdrawal for Durable Goods (Merchandise/Equipment)
For physical, durable items (e.g., T-shirts, mugs, equipment) purchased through our webshop, there is a 14-day full right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item.
2.2.1. Exceptions (Tickets/Events)
The purchase of tickets for events or event-related additional products such as food tickets, accommodation, transport, etc., is not covered by the right of withdrawal (cf. Act on Certain Consumer Agreements). If an event is cancelled, the ticket price will be refunded.
2.2.2. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
The period is calculated from the day you, or a third party chosen by you (excluding the carrier), physically receive the item.
You must notify us of your withdrawal no later than 14 days after the purchase by email to hey@vibecast.dk. In the notification, you must clearly indicate that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
2.2.3. Return of Durable Goods
You must return the order without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us of your withdrawal.
- Costs: You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods yourself.
- Packaging: When returning the goods, you are responsible for ensuring that they are properly packaged.
- Risk: You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery until we have received them back.
- We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery (COD).
2.2.4. Condition of the Item upon Return
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. You can try the goods as if you were trying them on in a physical store.
If the item has been tested beyond what is described above, it is considered used. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase price back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of return.
2.3. Refund (For Durable Goods)
If you cancel the purchase of a durable item, you will receive the amount you have paid back.
- Deduction: In the event of a decrease in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.
- Timing: All payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a different form of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal.
- Method: Repayment will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided documentation of having returned them.
- If it is a refund, please include bank or transaction information in the form of registration number and account number so that the agreed amount can be transferred. This information can be provided without risk by email or other electronic form, as it is not sensitive information and will only be used for our fulfillment of the refund.
